The total is your whole inspection-package price plus separately charged report/document review, agreed re-inspection, specialist checks and access/other inspection fees. An included fee is counted once; a missing fee or unknown VAT prevents a complete total. A zero contribution means included or explicitly not needed, not free inspection work.
All entered amounts for one provider must use the same VAT basis. The tool adds 5% only when amounts exclude VAT, adds nothing when already included or confirmed not charged, and rounds to two decimal places using the existing tested quote model. It does not deduct deposits, estimate repair budgets, value a property, certify works or calculate an outstanding contractor balance.
Illustrative arithmetic, not a market price: AED 1,000 for an inspection package plus AED 150 for a separately charged report and AED 100 for an agreed return visit totals AED 1,250 before VAT, or AED 1,312.50 when all amounts exclude 5% VAT. All other required charges must be confirmed included or not needed.
