Compare two curtain-cleaning quotes

Use one physical curtain inventory, even when providers quote by total billable fabric area, panel, kilogram or whole job. No market rate is generated.

1. Describe the same curtains once

Count every removable fabric piece once. Enter a provider-confirmed total area for mixed sizes, or use the geometry helper only when all entered panels have the same laid-flat width and drop.

Count each removable curtain, sheer, blackout or separate lining piece once—not windows, pairs or an extra layer multiplier. Use digits and a dot for decimals; do not use commas or currency symbols.

Use the written total when panels differ in size. This value takes priority over the helper below. Use digits and a dot for decimals; do not use commas or currency symbols.

Do not estimate weight from room size. Use digits and a dot for decimals; do not use commas or currency symbols.

Helper only. Use fabric width when spread flat—not gathered window, track or opening width. Use digits and a dot for decimals; do not use commas or currency symbols.

Do not use this helper across panels with different dimensions. Use digits and a dot for decimals; do not use commas or currency symbols.

Billable fabric-area check

Same-size helper: laid-flat width × drop × total physical panels = not calculated.

Area used for an m² quote: not confirmed.

A direct provider total takes priority. Curtain fullness means gathered window width is not fabric width, and this tool never adds an automatic lining or fullness multiplier.

For mixed fabrics, sizes or cleaning methods, use the provider's written whole-job extended total or compare separately. Do not apply one unit rate across a mixed inventory unless the actual quotation does so.

2. Enter each written quote

Use digits and a dot for decimals; do not use commas or currency symbols.

Mark work included when it is already inside the base price. Enter only a separate extended add-on; this prevents take-down, rehanging or transport from being counted twice.

Keep all entered lines on the same tax basis. Do not select the last option unless the provider states it in writing.

3. Compare complete, equivalent scopes

Quote 1

Correct these inputs before calculating:

  • Enter a positive written price or rate up to AED 1,000,000.

Quote 2

Correct these inputs before calculating:

  • Enter a positive written price or rate up to AED 1,000,000.

Confirm that both quotes cover the same inventory and equivalent written scope before comparing totals.

Arithmetic aid only—not a provider quote, market average, cleaning-method recommendation or fabric-safety assessment. Unknown charges stay unknown. Ask the cleaner to confirm fabric suitability, shrinkage/colour risk, stain expectations, drying and handling in writing.
